[SOLVED] Random crashes on new ASUS computer - WHEA detects UNCORRECTABLE_ERROR (124) in GenuineIntel.sys. FIX: no fix, I received a refund.

If the option isn't present, it seems it isn't allowed to disable the integrated GPU...

Do you have Nvidia control panel installed?
If no, install it.
From there, it seems there's an option to select all programs for using Nvidia graphics card only: Manage 3D Settings, global settings, Preferred graphics processor, high-performance NVIDIA processor.

Already done, still crashed today (again when I was quitting out of Elden Ring)
Thanks for all the help, but I'm running out of patience, this is increasingly feeling like a textbook case of sunk cost fallacy. I didn't want to go through the warranty process because I thought it would be easier to just fix it than mail it in for repairs, but I was clearly wrong.
I already contacted ASUS customer service and their first step was to reset my computer, so I'll probably do that tonight. If you have a Eureka moment and figure out a solution, let me know, but it does not feel like we're making any progress towards solving it. If I can't disable the graphics card and it's a hardware issue (and since I have the latest drivers and Driver Verifier passed we seem to have no evidence that it's a driver issue, correct me if I'm wrong), the only solution is probably to send it in for repairs anyway.

Thanks again for all the help!!

So warranty repairs did not fix it, I'm gonna refund it instead, they just reinstalled again which didn't help lol
But on the bright side my friend finally figured out the root hardware cause for me, by checking Amazon customer reviews of all things
There were a ton of negative reviews complaining about the computer crashing randomly on an 11th generation 11370H processor, and no such reviews for any of the other processor models available on Amazon's website

Which of course is the version I have

So in case anyone else runs into this issue, it appears to be a hardware issue with the 11370H processor (perhaps only for this specific laptop?)

But anyway, given I'm refunding it, case closed I guess
