[SOLVED] Scannow Tests Fail; online long running scripts prevent going further on websites

I also assist on BleepingComputer, yes. I'm a Senior Trainee in the Malware Study Hall there :) And these kind of issues (where the COMPONENTS Hive cannot be mounted or have an irregular sizes) are sadly part of the ones we cannot solve here because it is just not possible to re-create a unique COMPONENTS Hive for a system from scratch, only a Repair Install or Clean Install can do that.

And no problem joe, if you need assistance with the reinstall or getting back online after the reinstall, you can always post in the Windows 7 section here! :)

Cheers!

Aura,
Thanks very much. It doesn't look on the + side of getting the disc after all to reinstall. I knew from the onset of discovering the scannow tests fail, it might be a little not possible to get the copy of the windows 7 and is long story, but that's where and when one needs to maintain his own. Right. Which brings me to the next step and i'll tell ya what, I will gladly like to keep Sysnative and you in mind for future endeavors and your excellent help reflects fine work product-manship. That's my own word. :)

ok, take care and until next time*

Joe
