Server 2016 DISM corrupt & SFCFix never finishes

DISM throws an error that it can't find the file specified. And, yes, the path is correct and the I can see the the 5 files. Attached a screenshot:

If you change to h:\temp\kb4534 and run dism from there the result is the same?

Ok, we have to follow a different path.

Is there a way to force DISM to run to the end and log all errors along the way so you could get the full corrupted file list in one go? Or does it go file by file and that's just the way MS designed it?

Attachments

Unfortunately no! dism only list one error and stops.

I did target several files at one but now it gives error because it needs the initial files when the system was installed...

This whole thing is bad design on MS's part given that MS has pristine versions of every single file, surely they should be able to automate this process by pulling corrupt files directly from MS and copying them with proper permissions to the proper directly. They should hire you guys to do exactly that for them!! :)

There are situations when only after fixing one problem is possible to detect the next failure because of the relation between them but I'm not sure that is the case in this situation...

I'm going to try target several folders at once.

There's a txt attached rather than a zip. Do you want me to do something different this time or just attached the wrong file?

ETA: Ignore that - I didn't read. :)
