Server 2016 Standard - WU/DISM/SFC failing

Step 1.
Warning: This fix was written specifically for this system. Do not run this fix on another system.
  • Save any work you have open, and close all programs.
  • Download the attachment SFCFix.zip and save it to your desktop.
  • Drag the SFCFix.zip file over the SFCFix.exe executable and release it.

  • SFCFix will launch, let it complete.
  • Once done, a file will appear on your desktop, called SFCFix.txt.
  • Post the logfile (SFCFix.txt) as attachment in your next reply.


Step 2. Run the following DISM command and post the result. If it fails attach a new copy of the CBS log.

Hmm, still a number of *.manifests files are missing.

1. Is this server configured as an VM, or is it an physical server?
2. Has this server crashed recently, due to hardware issues or something like that?
 
This is a VM with 41 days uptime.

If you need anything else please let me know, and I appreciate the help.

I don't recollect any crashes per se, but it was probably cleanly restarted by myself several times during initial troubleshooting.
 
Please try the following DISM command again with another server as source to see what happens.
