[SOLVED] SFC found corrupted files and cannot repair - Win7SP1x64

pop ups still there. See images attached. Also whenever pc boots, after windows already loaded ok, it still takes a long time to conncect to wifi (eventually does). The moment i run the last fix it seemed to connect right away (after first reboot), but when i turned it on today, same thing happened (long time to connect). Windows Firewall settings still frozen. See imagen attached. Really appreciate your help. Best

Ran the fix again. FixLog attached. Still same messages in scheduler though.

I uninstalled eset internet security and windows firewall settings came back again, so no more worries about ScreenHunter_006.jpg.

I had to activate windows defender and also installed microsoft security essentials.

Lots of windows updates appeared and are now downloading and installing (some with errors)

But the most annoying issue is that it still takes a very long time to connect to internet (wifi) whenever pc starts. Maybe we could concentrate on this one?

Or maybe theres is a way to reinstall windows keeping everything as it is (ie not having to reinstall programs and configurations)? cause apparently this installation is corrupted everywhere and not sure we can repair it in a 100%...

I'm sorry for all the inconvenience..

That make sense, ESET Internet Security comes with a firewall and therefor disables the Windows Firewall.
Lots of windows updates appeared and are now downloading and installing (some with errors)
Run sfc /scannow again and attach the zipped cbs.log to your next reply.

Ran the last fix. After rebooting, same long time in internet connection (let me say that i've already tried a couple of different wifi dongles and nothing changes). I think after the very first or second fix you sent me, this issue in particular seemed to have been repaired, at least after first reboot and for a little while (i'm not sure though), but right now issue remains.

ran sfc /scannow. Ended ok.

Both files required attached.

Something new happened before this fix. Pc started and the image attached (ScreenHunter_001) showed up by itself. Explorer closed with error and restarted. Then eventually, it connected to internet..

Then, ran the fix. SFCfix.txt is attached.

Check Windows Update again and report the result.
If it fails, run sfc /scannow again and attach the zipped cbs.log to your next reply.

windows update returned no important updates available.

Connecting to internet still takes a very long time after booting. Do you have any clue about what could it be?

Use a fixed network cable just to check if that is slow on connecting also and report the result.

Okay, so there is no problem with the wifi adapter itself.
Shutdown your computer and router/modem. Wait 10-30 seconds and then switch the router back on.
After a few minutes, restart your computer.
Please report the result.

Finally got it!
Problem was in a service called "hasp licence manager" (after booting, it was the only one not starting as shown in task manager). With msconfig i disabled it and now after booting pc connects normally to internet.
Do you know if this service is something i shoul care about or leaving it disabled is ok?
Anyway, thanks for everything. Really, you were magnificent. Have a great day!

Well done.
The service "hasp licence manager" might have been installed by another program to prevent using that program without a valid license. I don't know which program installed it.
Leave this service disabled to find out which software it belongs to. If none of the current installed programs pop-up a message about this service, it is probably a remnant.

You'r welcome. Do you want to wait and report back or can we close this thread ?

So i ran chkdsk /f /r and again sfc /scannow this time the latter completing 100% though not beeing able to repair all. Already run SFCFix too. Logs are attached. If you could help me, i´d be very much appreciated.

Many thanks in advance,
