[SOLVED] SFC scannow corrupt each time it is run and correct each time.

So the update that you removed was causing the problem. How do I prevent the update from being installed again and do I need to have the update installed?

You don't need to have that update installed, unless you plan on using the RSAT (which I doubt you need to do outside a domain). And you can prevent that update from being reinstalled by hiding it next time it comes out in the list of available updates.
