[SOLVED] Sfc /scannow could not start the repair service

Thanks for the info. I would like you to Repair Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5 SP1. Please use the tool from the link below.

Download Microsoft .NET Framework Repair Tool from Official Microsoft Download Center

General Steps are as follows.
1. Download and run the tool.
2. Accept the license terms and click Next.
3. It will likely list recommended changes. Go ahead and click Next to apply them.
4. You will likely get a screen that says Changes complete. Click Next on this Screen.
5. You should get an Additional repair option to repair .NET Framework.
6. Click Next and allow the repair to complete.

Let me know when this is done or if you receive any errors.
 
No errors received the report say repair complete and try to rerun the net installation that was failing and keep this message open while you try

Step#1 - SFCFix Script
Warning: this fix is specific to the user in this thread. No one else should follow these instructions as it may cause more harm than good. If you are after assistance, please start a thread of your own.
  1. Download SFCFix.exe (by niemiro) and save this to your Desktop. If you still have this on your desktop from downloading previously, you don't need to re-download.
  2. Download the file below, SFCScript.txt, and save this to your Desktop.
  3. Save any open documents and close all open windows.
  4. On your Desktop, you should see two files: SFCFix.exe and SFCScript.txt.
  5. Drag the file SFCScript.txt onto the file SFCFix.exe and release it.
  6. SFCFix will now process the script.
  7. Upon completion, a file should be created on your Desktop: SFCFix.txt.
  8. Copy (Ctrl+C) and Paste (Ctrl+V) the contents of this file into your next post for me to analyse please

Hey Brian I got three recovery disk that did not come with the machine these disk will put my machine back to factory default.

The same result, while waiting for your response I ran the readiness tool and this is what I got. I don't know if this info will help but I do know that it can't hurt. This is a challenge but I am confident that the currently unseen solution will appear.

Hey Brian do this statement has any merit ? Partially confirmed. Running SFC /SCANNOW /OFFBOOTDIR=[C]:\ /OFFWINDIR=[C]:\WINDOWS combined with removing/renaming [C]:\WINDOWS\WINSXS\PENDING.XML is the solution to getting SFC to run properly.
 
Please zip/attach your CBS.log. Thanks for the CheckSUR.log.

I don't believe the info in your last post is something we need to do.
