Yes, but I would also suggest to make regular backups and/or separate backups of the registry with the following tool.
Make seperate backups of the registry with Acelogix RegBak, Before creating a backup with this tool, open the settings screen by clicking the option Click here to view details.
I recommend to select the option (...) hives not loaded by Windows, and/or Others to create a full backup.
