[SOLVED] SFCfix.exe shows files corrupted

Are you able to run the program gpedit.msc ?

Well, in W8.1 Home edition, this command is not included, but I've just managed to add the Group Policy Extension to my version, and now I have it.

Open the Group Policy Editor.
On the left side in Group Policy Editor, open the items Local Computer Policy\Computer Configuration\Administrative Templates\Windows Components\Windows Defender
Now on the right side you should see the item Turn off Windows Defender.
Double-click it and provide a screenshot of the window that appears.

In the screenshot window select "Non Configurata".
Click OK.
Close the policy editor (gpedit.msc).
Restart the machine.

Perform the instructions in message #60 again and provide the screenshot.

So, I came back to Local Group Policy Editor, clicked on the Turn off Windows Defender, and enabled the turn off.
Now it seems that a new icon appeared in the tray menu, right below, saying that Windows Defender is off.
here 's the full screen shot: Cattura di schermata (189).png
But in the Task bar, under "services" at the far right, it's showing the service still in execution . Here it is: Cattura di schermata (190).png
Sorry, just tried 🤷‍♀️...

Put the setting "Turn off Windows Defender" back to "Non Configurata".
Uninstall Avast and Malwarebytes.
Restart the machine.

Windows Defender should be your only antivirus now and active as well.
Lets have a look.
FRST Scan:
  1. Right-click on FRST64.exe to run the tool as administrator.
  2. Note: Ensure that the Addition.txt check box is checked at the bottom of the form within the Optional Scan area.
  3. Press the Scan button.
  4. Please wait for the tool to finish. It will produce two logfiles called FRST.txt and Addition.txt in the same directory the tool is run from (which should be the desktop)
  5. Post the logfiles FRST.txt and Addition.txt as attachment in your next reply.

Step 1:
Why did you install Driver Booster 11 ?

Step 2:

  1. Download the attachment fixlist.txt and save it to your desktop.
  2. Right-click on FRST64.exe and select "Run as administrator".
  3. Press the Fix button.
  4. The tool will now process fixlist.txt.
  5. If for some reason the tool needs a restart, please make sure you let the system restart normally. After that let the tool complete its run.
  6. When finished, a log called Fixlog.txt will appear in the same directory the tool is run from.
  7. Attach the logfile Fixlog.txt to your next reply.

Still not luck with the service WinDefend.
Lets have a look at another issue.
Are you familiar with the Windows program RegEdit ?

yes, I am.
Please give me some advice and I'll go and change some settings.
Thanks

Ok, I've followed the instructions, and ended up with this:Cattura di schermata (191).png
The only difference between the permissions on the Solved link above and my screenshot is that my name doesn't appear. WE can only see UTENTE.
I should probably retry the procedure giving more powers to the local account with my name (Manuela)
Yes, it definitely is in this way (ref #14 of the Instructions)
FYI: Cattura di schermata (194).png
What do you reckon? Instead of typing Administrator should I insert UTENTE\Manuela ?
