Small Business Server 2011 Windows Update Error 80073701

Shall I apply the fix, try the update and send you a new "package" or shall I wait for the missing fix?
 
Hi,

Restart Windows in Safe Mode.

Download Windows Repair (All-in-One) Portable


  • Extract the tweaking.com_windows_repair_aio.zip to c:\Windows\TEMP the zip will extract to a folder called Tweaking.com - Windows Repair
  • Execute the file Repair_Windows.exe from the Tweaking.com - Windows Repair folder, accept the Security warning and the EULA
  • Click the button Jump To Repairs
  • Click the Open Repairs button to access the following screen:
    WindowsRepair.png
  • Click the box All Repairs to uncheck all the boxes
  • Check only the following boxes:
    • 16 - Repair Windows Updates
  • Check the box Restart/Shutdown System When Finished > Restart System
  • Click the Start Repairs button

I only can do reboots in the night but the next nights I am not at home.

I will write you again when I finished the procedure.
 
I installed a 2008 R2 Server as a HyperV Client with the necessary driver version.
Then I copied all missing registry entries as you did.

Now I am a step further concerning the updates.
Now I don't get the error 80073701 but now I get the error 80073712

I also ran the tool you mentioned, but with no change in the behaviour.

Thank you, I already installed the key and the keys for next next files, the Log complained.
Shall I still apply this fix?
 
First, the good news:
The Update KB4072650 was installed successfully after doing all registry fixes and running System Update Readiness Tool.

Now I am at the next update (KB4343205) which fails with 80073712
