[SOLVED] The system cannot find the specified file

Hello, I got the same error again.

Error: 1726
Cannot run RPC.
The DISM log file can be found at C:\Windows\Logs\DISM\dism.log
 
Follow these instructions to remove an update.
  • Open the Start menu of Windows and type the command CMD
  • When you see Command Prompt on the list, right-click on it and select Run as administrator.
  • When command prompt opens, copy and paste the following command into it, then press enter.

  • Let me know if it says it was successful or you get the message: The update KB5008207 is not installed on this computer.

  • Open the startmenu and type the command cmd.
  • After you find the Command Prompt, right click on it and select Run as Administrator.
  • Copy and paste the following into the Command Prompt and press enter.

Right-click on the file FRST64.exe and choose Run as administrator.
  • Copy and paste the following (code) into the Search box and click the Search Registry button.

  • Right-click on FRST.exe and select "Run as administrator".
  • Press the Fix button.
  • If for some reason the tool needs a restart, please make sure you let the system restart normally.
  • When finished, a log called Fixlog.txt will appear in the same directory the tool is run from.
  • Post the logfile Fixlog.txt as attachment in your next reply.

I restarted the server and tried to run this command three or more times but everytime it stops at 10.0% and don't go further than that.

I think this Citrix image is buggy, it has errors always after each update round.
 
How long did you wait when it seems to hang at 10%, this because this command may take some time (sometimes several hours) to complete.

I waited some hours yesterday and today also i've waited like 2 or 3 hours i think.
 
Okay, please perform the following steps first.

  • Click the Start button and in the search box, type Command Prompt
  • When you see Command Prompt on the list, right-click on it and select Run as administrator.
  • When command prompt opens, copy and paste the following command into it, press enter afterwards.

  • Wait for this to complete.

  • Rightclick ListChkdskResult.exe and select Run as administrator.
  • Notepad will open the file ListChkdskResult.txt on completion. (This logfile ListChkdskResult.txt is also saved on your desktop.)
  • Post the logfile ListChkdskResult.txt as attachment in your next reply.

There are only errors from last year, so I would run the following command again and then wait until it fails! Maybe you can run the command overnight?

I found out that my profile might be corrupt. I ran the command from another account and it worked very quick. I got this error: Error: 2, The system cannot find the specified file.
