Win 10 Pro 1809 error 0xc000021a

Tried to install update again and it failed with same error on the first boot. Any possible solutions?

Step#1 - FRST Scan

1. Please download Farbar Recovery Scan Tool and save it to your Desktop.
Note: You need to run the 64-bit Version so please ensure you download that one.
2. Right click to run as administrator. When the tool opens click Yes to disclaimer.
3. Please ensure you place a check mark in the Addition.txt check box at the bottom of the form before running (if not already).
4. Press Scan button.
5. It will produce a log called FRST.txt in the same directory the tool is run from (which should now be the desktop)
6. Please attach the log back here.
7. Another log (Addition.txt - also located in the same directory as FRST64.exe) will be generated Please also attach that along with the FRST.txt in your reply.

Unfortunately, I cannot provide assistance as your logs indicate the presence of a tool frequently used to bypass activation methods from Microsoft and assisting with them present is forbidden according to our Forum Rules.

Step#1 - FRST Fix
NOTICE: This script was written specifically for this user, for use on that particular machine. Running this on another machine may cause damage to your operating system
1. Please download Farbar Recovery Scan Tool and save it to your Desktop.
Note: You need to run the 64-bit Version so please ensure you download that one.
2. Download attached file and save it to the Desktop.
Note. It's important that both files, FRST64 and fixlist.txt are in the same location or the fix will not work (in this case...the desktop).
3. Run FRST64 by Right-Clicking on the file and choosing Run as administrator.
4. Press the Fix button just once and wait. If for some reason the tool needs a restart, please make sure you let the system restart normally. After that let the tool complete its run.
5. When finished FRST64 will generate a log on the Desktop (Fixlog.txt). Please post the contents of it in your reply.

Also, it seems there may be a problem with your system drive:

Code:
Error: (12/17/2018 04:29:36 PM) (Source: Ntfs) (EventID: 55) (User: NT AUTHORITY)
Description: A corruption was discovered in the file system structure on volume ~Samsung.

The Master File Table (MFT) contains a corrupted file record. The file reference number is 0x1d000000000627. The name of the file is "\ProgramData\TEMP".

Error: (12/17/2018 01:09:15 PM) (Source: Ntfs) (EventID: 55) (User: NT AUTHORITY)
Description: A corruption was discovered in the file system structure on volume C:.

The exact nature of the corruption is unknown. The file system structures need to be scanned online.

Please back it up if you have not done so already.

Attached is the fixlog file. The corrupted mbr is of concern. I did a chkdsk /f /r and no error. On boot no mbr error reported. So I have no idea how to fix. As for backups, that's why I use Trueimage regularly.

GSmartControl
Follow the instructions below to test your hard drive health with GSmartControl:

  • Download GSmartControl and save it on your Desktop;
  • Execute gsmartcontrol.exe; Let the install complete and launch the programme.
  • Identify your drive in the list, and double-click on it to bring up it's window (usually you'll find your drive by it's size or it's brand name);
  • Also, go in the Attributes tab and if you have any entries highlighted in red or pink, take a screenshot of the GSmartControl window and attach it in your next reply;

That may be so but it still shows "excellent health" Also, I have another ssd drive with win10 pro installed and it returns the same error when trying to update to 1809. Attached is the gsmartcontrol which doesnt have the pink bar. Thus, there is more happening to cause this error.
