Warning: This script was written specifically for this user, for use on that particular machine. Do not run this script on another machine.

1. Download the attachment fixlist.txt and save it to your desktop.
2. Right-click on FRST.exe and select "Run as administrator".
3. Press the Fix button.
4. The tool will now process fixlist.txt.
5. If for some reason the tool needs a restart, please make sure you let the system restart normally. After that let the tool complete its run.
6. When finished, a log called Fixlog.txt will appear in the same directory the tool is run from.
7. Post the logfile Fixlog.txt as attachment in your next reply.

Please do following:

Step 1:
1. Right-click on FRST.exe and select "Run as administrator".
2. Note: Ensure that the Addition.txt check box is checked at the bottom of the form within the Optional Scan area.
3. Press the Scan button.
4. Please wait for the tool to finish. It will produce two logfiles called FRST.txt and Addition.txt in the same directory the tool is run from (which should be the desktop)
5. Post the logfiles FRST.txt and Addition.txt as attachment in your next reply.

Step 2:
SFC Scan
  1. Rightclick on the Start button and select Command Prompt (administrator)
  2. When command prompt opens, copy and paste the following commands into it, press enter after each

    Code:
    sfc /scannow
    Wait for this to finish before you continue

    Code:
    copy %windir%\logs\cbs\cbs.log "%userprofile%\Desktop\cbs.txt"
  3. This will create a file, cbs.txt on your Desktop. Please attach this to your next post.
    Note: if the file is too big to upload to your next post please upload via a service such as Dropbox or One Drive or SendSpace and just provide the download link.

Please do following.

1. Right-click the Start button and click Command Prompt (administrator).
2. A User Account Control dialog may come up asking for approval. If it does go ahead and allow.
3. A command prompt window will open. Copy and paste the following into the command-prompt and hit enter.
wmic services get name,displayname,pathname > "%USERPROFILE%\desktop\services.txt"
4. After the command runs there will be a file on your desktop named services.txt.
5. Attach this file to your next reply.

Double-click on
521a05988c9a5-SystemLook.PNG
SystemLook_x64 to run it again.
Copy and paste the code below into SystemLook_x64:

netprofm.dll
netprofmsvc.dll
Click the button "Look" to start the scan.
On completion, Notepad will open the file "SystemLook.txt".
Post this file as attachment with your next reply.

Step 2:
1. Right-click on the Start button and click Run.
2. Type POWERSHELL in the input field, then click OK.
3. A blue window appears.
4. Type in the blue window Get-WindowsUpdateLog and press the enter key.
5. Some text will appear in the blue window. Wait for the message "WindowsUpdate.log written to C:\Users\<username>\Desktop\WindowsUpdate.log".
6. Close the blue window.
7. Attach the file C:\Users\<username>\Desktop\Windows\WindowsUpdate.log to your next reply.

Please do the following.

Step#1 - DISM /RestoreHealth Scan
Warning:this fix is specific to the user in this thread. No one else should follow these instructions as it may cause more harm than good. If you are after assistance, please start a thread of your own.


  1. Right-click on the Start button and select Command Prompt (Admin)
  2. When command prompt opens, Copy (Ctrl+C) and Paste (Right-click > Paste) the following command into it, then press Enter
    Dism /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth
  3. Once it finishes, copy and paste the following into the command-prompt window and press Enter. If prompted to overwrite the existing file go ahead.
    copy %windir%\logs\cbs\cbs.log "%userprofile%\Desktop\cbs.txt"
  4. Once this has completed please go to your Desktop and you will find CBS.txt => Please zip/upload to this thread.
    Please Note:: if the file is too big (over 7MB) to upload to your next post, please upload via a service such as Dropbox or One Drive or SendSpace and just provide the link.

everything else work [the store and microsoft edge] but not the updates
now the error is 0x8024402f
