[SOLVED] Win7 Pro x64 error code 80073701 installing update KB4471318

Windows Features dialog box did not populate, which is odd, because I was in it not too long ago for something else and it was fine.
Regardless, task completed successfully. Log attached.

Step#1 - FRST Fix
NOTICE: This script was written specifically for this user, for use on that particular machine. Running this on another machine may cause damage to your operating system
1. Please download Farbar Recovery Scan Tool and save it to your Desktop.
Note: You need to run the 64-bit Version so please ensure you download that one.
2. Download attached file and save it to the Desktop.
Note. It's important that both files, FRST64 and fixlist.txt are in the same location or the fix will not work (in this case...the desktop).
3. Run FRST64 by Right-Clicking on the file and choosing Run as administrator.
4. Press the Fix button just once and wait. If for some reason the tool needs a restart, please make sure you let the system restart normally. After that let the tool complete its run.
5. When finished FRST64 will generate a log on the Desktop (Fixlog.txt). Please post the contents of it in your reply.
6. Try updates and if any fail, attach CBS.log.

Running now - so essentially, we're removing the reg entries for the missing packages?

LOL you're not wrong...
However, it did complete successfully with no prompt for reboot.
Zipped Fixlog attached.
Running WU again now.

Well...

I did NOT get a failure this time, only the normal prompt to reboot.
When I rebooted, the tray notification said one or more updates failed.
However, I checked for updates again and this time it says none are available.

Excellent, if the update has installed successfully, I'd say all is well. And I say we wrap it up here. If you have any subsequent issues with updates, start a new thread and someone will tend to you.

OK. I guess the only confusion is the history showing all attempts to install KB4480970 failed, yet now no updates are available.
KB4480970 doesn't show up in the installed updates dialog either.
Anything else I should do at this point?

Got it. Truly appreciate your time, patience and assistance!
