Open your Notepad, and copy/paste the following inside it:

Code:
icacls C:\Windows\System32\DriverStore\FileRepository /save %userprofile%\ACLFile
takeown /f C:\Windows\System32\DriverStore\FileRepository
icacls C:\Windows\System32\DriverStore\FileRepository /grant administrators:F

icacls C:\Windows\System32\DriverStore\FileRepository /setowner "NT SERVICE\TrustedInstaller"
icacls C:\Windows\System32\DriverStore /restore %userprofile%\ACLFile

Once done, click on the File menu followed by Save as.... Save the file on your Desktop and give it the name Script.bat;
After that, go on your Desktop, right-click on Script.bat and select Run as Administrator;
You should see a command prompt open and close quickly, let me know once this is done.

After completing this step, please try installing SP1 and include CBS.log in your next reply if it fails.

Hi, after your script, the SP1 (windows6.1-KB976932-X64, this is the one i use as an exe) was installing !
I thought WOW he did it !
But after a 20 min run it rebooted the first time and on a blue screen it said "configuring...." but it failed after a minute or so.
I attached a jpg with the error fault number 0x80070490
I also attached the CBS log (150MB) which i compressed to best : 5MB

We have definite improvement here ! I hope you can fix the last steps :-)

(btw : i did run SP1 with AVAST disabled to be sure not to have interference. Is that ok ? )

Yes, disabling Avast is fine.

Please zip and attach the following file:

C:\Windows\Inf\setupapi.dev.log

Also, could you please upload the Minidump file located in your C:\Windows\Minidump folder for me to analyse?

Step#1 - BSOD Log
1. Please download the 64-bit version of Bluescreenview from here and save it to your desktop.
2. Right-click on the downloaded file (bluescreenview-x64.zip) and select Extract All. Click the Extract button and a folder will open with the contents that were extracted.
3. Right-click on BlueScreenView.exe and select Run as administrator. If prompted to Allow, please answer yes.
4. Once the program opens and finishes scanning, click on the Edit menu and choose Select All.
5. Then click on the file menu...Save selected Items...and save it to your desktop named BSOD.txt.
6. Open the BSOD.txt file in notepad (you can simply double-click on the file from the desktop to do this) and copy/paste the contents of this in your next reply.

When it runs as admin there are no dump files to copy...

3. Once you are at the command prompt, copy/paste the following line and hit enter.

Let me know if it says successfully installed. If it does, try to install SP1.

I ran the cmd line with succes. Ran SP1
Now SP1 ran for 43 min (instead of a 20 min the previous time) and rebooted. On the blue screen configuring it says after 9% , error.
The same error as before : 0x8007490.
I attached a CBS log and the other log as before (thought you might need that too)
Nothing in minidump file and no result using bluescreenviewer.
After all another improvement !
