[SOLVED] [Win7SP1 x64] WU Error Code 8007370B - SURT total detected corruption count: 218.

I did indeed. I rebooted then tried to install the update again, but it failed that time also. All of the updates installed successfully except for the one that I mentioned to you. Here's my CBS log: View attachment CBS.log

Manually download and attempt the install of this update from the link below.
Microsoft Update Catalog

Once it fails please zip up and provide me two logs.
1. The current CBS.log
2. The previous CBS.log which will begin like CBSPersistMMDDYYYYHHMMSS

Thanks.

OK, found the corruption. Please do the following.

  2. Download the file below, SFCScript.txt, and save this to your Desktop.
  3. Save any open documents and close all open windows.
  4. On your Desktop, you should see two files: SFCFix.exe and SFCScript.txt.
  5. Drag the file SFCScript.txt onto the file SFCFix.exe and release it.
  6. SFCFix will now process the script.
  7. Upon completion, a file should be created on your Desktop: SFCFix.txt.
  8. Copy (Ctrl+C) and Paste (Ctrl+V) the contents of this file into your next post for me to analyse please

I'd like another scan and possibly one more fix before you install those.

Step#1 - System Update Readiness Tool (SUR)
1. Download and run the following file.
2. When it asks you if you wish to install, please answer yes. Note: It could take 15 minutes or more to run. Please don't cancel.
3. You will get an Installation Complete screen when it's done running.
4. Please attach the log from the following location. C:\Windows\Logs\CBS\CheckSUR.log
Please Note:: if the file is too big to upload to your next post please upload via a service such as Dropbox or One Drive or SendSpace and just provide the link.

Here's the next CheckSUR log: View attachment CheckSUR.log. I was away from my computer for a few minutes, and when I came back it was automatically going through the update process for those updates. I hope that's okay..

Yup, that's OK. Go ahead and install everything you can and let me know if there is anything that doesn't install at this point.

Alrighty, so now it looks like I'm getting an error code: 80240016, with 10 failed updates. The important updates that aren't installing are... lots of "Security Updates" for Office 2013 (2), Windows 7, (2) Office 2007 (6). Whenever I click "Install Updates" it immediately fails. When I try clicking "Try again", it doesn't work...

OK, select just one of the security updates and attempt to install ONLY the one. Let me know which KB number it is. Once it fails to install, please zip up and provide me with your c:\windows\logs\cbs\cbs.log
