Hi,

Run Minitoolbox again this time only with the option List last 10 Event Viewer log and post the log.

Hi,

The log show that the process TrustedInstaller continues to crash! this is the process that do most of the work related with Windows Update... we need to collect a crash dump that records information about the process crash.

Application errors:

- Please create a new folder C:\CrashDumps this folder will be used to stored the Crash Dump files.

- Apply the attached SFCScript using SFCFix like you did before. Post the SFCFix.txt log

- Restart the computer

- force windows to search for updates or try to install one Update until you see that a file called TrustedInstaller.exe.<PID>.dmp was created on the C:\CrashDumps, zip the file and upload to your post or share the file using Google Drive.

Hi,

Thanks for the update.

You may want to disable the creation of the Crash Dumps before going on vacations... to do that apply the fix attached.

Update is not applicable... isnt something wrong with SP1?

No.

Lets take a look into the system....

Farbar Recovery Scan Tool (FRST)

  • Download FRST or FRST x64 and save it to the Desktop.
(Please pick the version that matches your operating system's bit type. If you don't know which version matches your system, try FRST if it say that is not compatible with your OS you have to use FRST64
  • Execute FRST/FRST64 right click on the icon
    FRST.gif
and choose Run as Administrator. Make sure all other windows are closed.
(When the Tool opens for the first time you must click Yes on the disclaimer.)
    FRST.png
  • Press Scan button.
  • It will produce a log called (FRST.txt) in the same directory the Tool is run from.
  • The first time the Tool is run, it makes also another log (Addition.txt).
  • Please attach both logs to your post.

Hi,

Sorry but the attach contains the FRST program and not the logs FRST.txt and Addition.txt generated after pressing Scan.

Hi,

Thanks for the logs.

Do you know and use the software DellDataVault?

Edit:Did you try to update making sure that all of those applications from Fujitsu located on C:\Fes\ are not running?

On the Windows Event Viewer there are some errors related with one of the applications followed by the Trusted installer crash!
