2. Right-click on FRST64.exe and select "Run as administrator".
3. Press the Fix button.

5. If for some reason the tool needs a restart, please make sure you let the system restart normally. After that let the tool complete its run.
6. When finished, a log called Fixlog.txt will appear in the same directory the tool is run from.
7. Post the logfile Fixlog.txt as attachment in your next reply.

The online literature suggests that you can only run this file from the Command prompt in W8.1 and higher

You already used FRST64.exe, the command in the attached fixlist is valid for Windows 7.

Add Missing Package
1. Click the Start button and type cmd in the search box.
2. Right-click on the cmd that comes up and select Run as administrator.
3. Once you are at the command prompt, copy/paste the following line and press enter.
pnputil -a C:\windows\WinSxS\amd64_usb.inf_31bf3856ad364e35_6.1.7601.23933_none_299141303e40c6bc\usb.inf

4. You will likely receive a prompt that the publisher of the driver cannot be verified. Please install the driver anyway as this message is normal.

The two additional updates loaded fine leaving two optional non-operating system updates for printer and graphics drivers which I choose not to tamper with, and two optional updates for quality roll-ups from February and April. I would like to update the monthlies if you concur
