There is no problem in CheckSUR.log now, but I still can not install KB2984972 with Windows Update Error 80070490.

--------------------
  • Click Start, type Command, right click on Command Prompt above and select Run as Administrator
  • Copy and paste the following after the Command Prompt then hit Enter
reg load HKLM\Components C:\Windows\System32\Config\Components
  • Launch FRST
  • Copy/paste the following in the Search Field
KB4480970
  • Click the Search Registry button
  • When completed click OK and a SearchReg.txt document will open on your desktop
  • Copy and paste the contents of that document your reply

Please run it a second time with these modifications:

In the Search Field type SearchAll: KB4480970
Rather than select Search Registry select Search Files

By the way, I searched KB2984972 in registry, and FRST found lots of registry key.
Is that the reason which I couldn't install KB2984972?
 
Yes, that could be a factor. I am consulting with my mentor to determine our next step but since he is in a far different time zone he may not be back online this evening.

Based on a error being reported in the most recent log I would like you to uninstall Kaspersky using this tool if necessary then try the update again. If it fails attach the CBS log to your reply.
