Windows Server 2016 Unable to reinstall Defender or repair file corruption

No improvement with Defender but I determined it is only affecting the administrator account.
Logged in with 2 other accounts and was able to open defender from the settings interface.
I would consider that the least of my issues currently.
Right after the restart windows downloaded a Defender update. I installed it but when I checked for updates afterward, the same error 0x80070006
BITS is working again.

Step 2:
Are you able to start Windows Defender through Control Panel and are updates for Windows Defender installed successful ?

I can start defender thru the control panel.
Defender Update doesn't connect to server on first try, on retry it connects
as Up to date. I will have to try it when the next definition pack is released.
Windows update is still the same error 0x80070006
Should I try windows update from the cmd line to see if that works.

Great that Windows Defender now can be started from the Control Panel.

Copy the files C:\Windows\Logs\CBS\cbs.log and C:\Windows\Logs\DISM\dism.log to your desktop.
Zip the copied files and attach the zipfile to your next reply.

The error 0x80070006 isn't in the cbs.log nor the dism.log.

Right-click on the Start button and click Run.
Typ POWERSHELL in the input field, then click OK.
A blue window appears.
Typ in the blue window Get-WindowsUpdateLog and press the enter key.
Some text will appear in the blue window. Wait for the message "WindowsUpdate.log written to C:\Users\<username>\Desktop\WindowsUpdate.log".
Close the blue window.

Attach the file C:\Users\<username>\Desktop\WindowsUpdate.log to your next reply.

There was a warning. Could not process line 397
I ran windows update from the cmd line and saved a second log. Windowsupdate1.txt
I'm starting to believe that something is wrong with the Settings GUI for windows update and defender.
