Re: Windows 7 SP1 (KB4074598) Fails with Error 0x80004005

It worked perfectly, except there is still an underlying issue with the update, the update failed again with the same error code I was given trying to do The Feb Update, after I uninstalled the January Rollup security patch;

{73D175EA-2483-46D4-A8E3-1832178EB474} Installation Failure: Windows failed to install the following update with error 0x80004005: 2018-02 Security Monthly Quality Rollup for Windows 7 for x64-based Systems (KB4074598)

SFCFIX.exe no longer fails to connect to the internet after your help, I have not run SURT yet, but I have run SFCFIX; Does SFCFIX run SURT on its own? It says SURT total detected corruption count=23. Is that from the previous time I ran SURT? Or is this new? Here is the log;if you need anything more, let me know! :)

Re: Windows 7 SP1 (KB4074598) Fails with Error 0x80004005

Step#1 - Capture Process Monitor Trace
1. Download and run Process Monitor. Leave this running while you perform the next steps.
2. Open an elevated Command Prompt and run Windows Updates just like you have in the past.
3. Stop Process Monitor as soon as it fails. You can simply do this by clicking the magnifying glass on the toolbar as shown below.

4. Select the File menu...Save... and save the file to your desktop. This is likely the default location. The name (unless changed) will be LogFile.PML. This is fine.
5. Zip up and attach the LogFile.PML file as well as your CBS.log

It installs correctly during the install, but fails during the configuration stage on reboot, at around 98-100%
