[SOLVED] [7SP1HomePre x64] many corrupt files found on sfc /scannow

Re: many corrupt files found on sfc /scannow

The logfile sfcdetails.txt is useless. Please post the complete cbs.log:

  • Click on the Start button and in the search box, type Command Prompt
  • When you see Command Prompt on the list, right-click on it and select Run as administrator.
  • When command prompt opens, copy and paste the following command into it, then press enter.

    Code:
    copy %windir%\logs\cbs\cbs.log "%userprofile%\Desktop\cbs.txt"
  • This will create a file, cbs.txt on your Desktop. Please attach this to your next post.
Note: if the file is too big to upload to your next post please upload via a service such as Filedropper or One Drive or SendSpace and just provide the download link.

Well done.
Please do following:

  1. Click on the Start button and in the search box, type CMD
  2. When CMD is listed above, right-click on it and select Run as administrator
  3. When Command Prompt opens, copy and paste the following command into it, then press enter.

    Code:
    fsutil hardlink list c:\windows\system32\drivers\en-us\usbhub.sys.mui
Next, take a screenshot of the Command Prompt. Read this on how to take a screenshot.
Upload the image file to a file-sharing site and post the download link.

Check Windows Update again and report the result.
