[SOLVED] [7SP1Ult x64] updates show in update history but do not show in installed updates

Ok. Try to install that single update and report the result.

I ment the security update in your second screenshot: kb2310138
Did that result with error 643 in your latest screenshot ?

One update installed only to history: Security Intelligence Update for Microsoft Security Essentials - KB2310138 (Version 1.387.2630.0)
Second update, like yesterday - failed.
After turning off Windows updates, after turning it on, ready download and install appeared again. I don't understand what's the matter.

Rename the folder C:\Windows\Microsoft.NET\Assembly into C:\Windows\Microsoft.NET\Assembly_backup.
Install update KB982670 again and report the result.

You can see that nothing has been received. I even tried copying the assembly and adding a backup, but the actual assembly doesn't disappear

Download the
5c431bbd71a53-NetFxRepairTool.png
NetFxRepairTool.
Double-click the file NetFxRepairTool.exe to start the tool.
Allow it to scan your computer.
If the window Recommended changes appears, take a screenshot and provide that first.

Hi Peter
I did everything as you instructed.
Yesterday I accidentally received information that there are 3 days left until the end of the activation (today 2023-04-30 - already 2 days). I didn't pay attention before. on the table it was covered. Of course, I can prolong the activation for 30 days (SLMGR -REARM on cmd). But there is no way out. I am waiting for your advice in this case. Excuse me for the stupidity.
Maybe it affects Windows updates.

Windows seems to be installed about a month ago. Is that correct ?
Do you have a valid Windows 7 product key ?

First: My Win764bit SPi Ultimate was legally activated over 15 years ago. There is ID and key. When I try the specified legal ID, validate with the legal key: "Please check you product key".
Secondly: About a month ago (I reminded you earlier) only an upgrade from the same old CD/dvd disk was successfully installed. Maybe it has something to do with activation. Microsoft changed the keys.

Weird. If this Windows 7 was activated over 15 years ago I do not understand why it isn't activated anymore.
Attach the log files shown in the first 2 screenshots in message #48:

OK? Did I understand correctly?

Okay.
Please attach the files listed in the 2 screenshots in message #52. You may zip them in one zipfile if you like.

Hi Peter.
Excuse me for emails, I didn't read them, I couldn't cancel for a long time.
I am sending two attachments.
I have long wanted to provide you with some updates. They haven't given me peace for a long time, but we were busy with the present question
Почему многие обновление нахом Windows6.1-KB3020369-x64.msu не страницался: "only one instance of wusa.exe is allowed to run" и "the update is not applicable to you computer". They are all from the Microsoft catalog

There is some misunderstanding. Please attach following files:
C:\Windows\windowsupdate.log
C:\Users\Edmundas\AppData\Local\Temp\FixDotNet.log
C:\Users\Edmundas\AppData\Local\Temp\NetFxSetupEvents.txt
C:\Users\Edmundas\AppData\Local\Temp\dd_NetFXRepair.log
C:\Users\Edmundas\AppData\Local\Temp\Microsoft.NET Framework Repair Tool_20230430_080612058.html

Hi Peter.
I'm sending what I found in .zip mode. I did not find only: "Microsoft .NET Framework Repair Tool_20230430_080612058.html"

It looks like KB982670 fails to install because a newer version of .NET Framework already is installed.
Check Windows Updates again and provide a screenshot of the available important updates.

I may have misunderstood. Checks important updates and sending all updates.
And one more thing: I installed Microsoft .NET Framework 4.8. Everything seems to be fine, but there is still one update error, which I am attaching.
