[SOLVED] [7SP1Ult x64] updates show in update history but do not show in installed updates

The attachment does not contain the requested file. Please the instructions in my previous message carefully.

Hi Peter.
I did not quite understand something, C:\Windows\Logs\CBS\cbs.log does not open, but I send it to CBS (3).log and also found CBS (2).log in ProgramData.
I also don't like FRST.txt, Additional.txt
I finally managed to open the cbs.log file.
When NET 4.8 was installed "some of higher version of NET 4.0 has already been installed on this computer" . After the removal of 4.8, the situation has changed.

The screenshots in your latest attachments are clear. "Microsoft .NET Framework 4 Client Profile" fails to install because a higher version is already installed.
The list of "Windows Features" only shows items which are available during the original Windows 7 installation. So newer versions of .NET Framework and other installed programs are not displayed in "Windows Features".

Are there remaining issues with this machine or can we close this thread.

Hi Peter.
I install NET4.8
Thank you very much for your help. I don't understand how tired you are of messing with me. Please help to understand one more topic if you understand this. I promise then we will close these annoying unconscious.
We are talking about the entry "Managed your organization" and "New incognito windows" As I understand it, they are dangerous for the computer.
When I set HKLM_Software_Policies_Google_Chrome in the registry on the recommendation of the Internet ( Enter “IncognitoModeAvailability”)
in the registry according to the recommendation of the Internet, "New incognito windows" disappears.
When I remove "Chrome" in the registry, "Managed your organization chrome" disappears How to make both disappear.

I looks like your browser has been hijacked by "Optimum Search".
Remove the extensions "Optimum" and "IncognitoSearches Search" in Google Chrome when available.

If you cannot find them please do following:
FRST Scan:
  1. Right-click to run the tool FRST64.exe as administrator.
  2. Note: Ensure that the Addition.txt check box is checked at the bottom of the form within the Optional Scan area.
  3. Press the Scan button.
  4. Please wait for the tool to finish. It will produce two logfiles called FRST.txt and Addition.txt in the same directory the tool is run from (which should be the desktop)
  5. Post the logfiles FRST.txt and Addition.txt as attachment in your next reply.

Step 1:
Warning: This script was written specifically for this user, for use on that particular machine. Do not run this script on another machine.

  3. Press the Fix button.
  4. The tool will now process fixlist.txt.
  5. If for some reason the tool needs a restart, please make sure you let the system restart normally. After that let the tool complete its run.
  6. When finished, a log called Fixlog.txt will appear in the same directory the tool is run from.
  7. Attach the logfile Fixlog.txt to your next reply.

Step 2:
Tell me if the issues in Edge and Chrome are fixed.

Hi Peter.
Step 1: I did everything according to your instructions. I send Fixlog txt in Zip form.
Step 2: Then a thought came to my mind. Maybe I'm wrong, as you think. Maybe all the trouble is in the activation of Windows. My machine has a legal product ID and key . For some reason, Microsoft does not recognize this. I extended the activation. There are 14 days left. Check out the apps and rate it.
Step 3: "New incognito windows" did not disappear from Chrome.

Did you ran the fix in Step 1 more than once ?

Remove the extension "oikgcnjambfooaigmdljblbaeelmekem" in Edge and Chrome

The "New incognito window" is a legit option in Chrome. No need to remove that.

Hi Peter.
It happened more than once, after rebooting the computer, it collapsed: the Internet and everything else disappeared. I never understood why. Slightly restored Disk (c:).
Removed "oikgcnjambfooaigmdljblbaeelmekem" from Chrome.
What about activation. The problem occurred when windows tried to activate. Code 0xC004E003 win7 ultimate

Hi Peter.
I installed MGADiag.exe. From the beginning it was not possible to install, but when I turned off the security of Microsoft Essentials, Firewall, Chrome, everything worked out. I send in Zip mode.

I am going for two days, so I won't be able to answer you quickly.
No problem.

The files I provided where succesfully copied to your system but they seem to be incorrect although I took them from a Windows 7 Ultimate x64 machine.
Do you have a similar machine at hand from which we might copy the files needed ?

Hi Peter.
Sorry for the long silence. We have a garden, we had to work a little.
I didn't quite understand your question. Please elaborate your question if you don't mind. Excuse my ignorance.

You you have a similar machine (running the same Windows version and type) or do know someone who has ?
Maybe we use that machine to extract the needed files from.
