It lasted about 30 seconds. Then system halt.

Okay, stay in Normal mode, but disable the startup items one by one until you find the culprit.

Having trouble. Can't boot in to Safe Mode to make the change. Doesn't recognize F8 for some friggin reason. Locks up as soon as I enter in normal mode so I can't make the change in msconfig...

F8 does not work in Win10. Forcefully shut down your computer three times to initiate automatic repair.

Repair doesn't work. Disabling all programs in startup didn't work. The only way it stays up is if I disable all non-Microsoft services.

Okay, then leave them disabled. If you wish, you can play around and enable them one by one to determine which piece of software is causing this or you can leave it as is and use the computer normally.
