Would you all like to know who were the catalysts for this ridiculous and completely unnecessary vendetta between the two forums?

So z3r010's post last night was .... a lie?

Ok I'll put this right out in the open because i'm really getting tired with all this shit.....I have no issue with sysnative other that jan and Ken, if anybody doesn't like the way we run this site then please let me know and you can join jan and ken on the ex-members list.

I never requested to be banned, have my account closed, see my screen name as jcgriff2, have my BSOD stickies with 100,000s hits torn down, so what possible rationale is there for z3r010's petty, childish, absurd and asinine banning actions?

You are correct and caught me on a technicality... Catalyst is a better word...

However, I do feel it was wrong of them to go through PM's and then ban...

Aside from harassment PM's are and should be between 2 people... It would be one thing if they were maliciously inviting people here...

I see no problem with sharing new sites with your friends... If you wish to do so here please feel free.

Back onto attacking people here, please try and be respectful... Fueling "the hand that feeds" is only going to make this messier...

Keep in mind, we did not start any of this... We offered to share the apps with SF/VF/EF/TSF and even gave them access to it.

As much as it pains me to say this... This whole argument is about nothing but their pocketbooks...

Dragging everyone else into the fire is just wrong.

If anything "Team Zigzag" is a scapegoat to justify some childish feeble-minded behavior.

Catalyst - not scapegoat :( They truly aren't the innocents they are made out to be. But to be fair it has now transcended beyond THEM. I simply wanted to congratulate them.

As I said, I don't speak for the admins - and it's not up to me to question their decisions. I can fully understand the ire caused by being banned 'for no reason'.

But I can predict there will be more banning's. I don't think the broom has finished sweeping.

Personally I'm not into this whole inter-forum rivalry. The net is big enough for all of us to exist.

Having said that, those who have **** on the hand that fed - like lil JaidynM, deserve a vindictive banning.

Shame ZR & Brink!

The value adding volunteers, who generously donate their time, are treated with contempt by the Admins who pocket the proceeds.

Team Zigzag.
Profit aside - shame on those who learnt from other value adding volunteers who then turn around and have the audacity to betray the very site that taught them.

I know I've had a hand in teaching some here.

Seven Forums betrayed me before I betrayed it.

I'd also like to ask, who are you on SevenForums?

I'm sure you would. However I am maintaining anonymity from both sites.

It's cowardly - I will grant you that, but I'm not in the mood for a double site ban for speaking my mind.

But I am disappointed in you Removed :shame2::(

As I said before John, I don't speak on behalf of z3r010. However one area in we are in concurrence of is that it's J&K we have the issue with. Anything that occurred after that was not of my doing. I'm just a SF member - not a staff member.

Again, that was not my decision or personally one that I would have made. Others - perhaps, because they were simply out to cause trouble. But not you.

Ultimately, I hope this whole molehill mountain can be cut be cut back down to size, patched up and put right and eventually forgotten.

I will assure you this will never be forgotten, at least by me. All I've done is state my opinion off of Seven Forums on the way things are being conducted, and my account was ultimately terminated. Just like that... one post on a completely different forum and my account is closed. Poof.

I'm a mature individual and I'm not going to go from forum to forum I visit letting everyone know of what has occurred, but I personally will always remember how wrongfully banned I was, and how humiliating it is to have a "banned" tag over something I wasn't involved with until I made one post stating my opinion on these matters (which wasn't even unprofessional in the slightest, or in anyway fair to issue a BAN as I had ZERO prior interactions or issues with staff).

Ultimately, we all make mistakes. We all learn from these mistakes and we are sometimes punished for these mistakes. However, banning innocent people from a forum because they're part of a forum you don't like dealing with or doing business with is disgraceful, and I assure you... if the intentions of the SF admins were to brush this under the rug and have it all wash away overnight, it has already taken a completely different direction and now YOU are very much in the wrong.

Have you come here just to attack JaidynM? It seems very cowardly to do that under your anonymous identity. Perhaps you should run back to SevenForums to sort out your problems there, where you can use your real identity and Jaidyn can see who you really are.

Although tempting we do feel our members should be allowed to express their own opinion here.
But attacking other members without merit for something on another site will not be tolerated, if you have an issue with someone pertaining to another site address it there not here.
Sometimes we may have to debunk the myths other times admit when we are wrong, something you may not see elsewhere...........

Those PMS were reported as spam. And tbh, it's part of an admins job to check it out once it's been reported multiple times. Snooping on PM's is NOT a regular practice.

Tbh, I was one of many recipients and it reeked of 'cut and paste' spam. It was very different from "hey you, check out this site :)"

Back onto attacking people here, please try and be respectful... Fueling "the hand that feeds" is only going to make this messier...

You're right and my apologies. It's an emotive issue.

As much as it pains me to say this... This whole argument is about nothing but their pocketbooks...

Initially there were instigators, but it snowballed from there. This pocketbook argument is not something I have to do with. All I ask is who originally raised the idea it came down to money?

Dragging everyone else into the fire is just wrong.

Yes. Too many have been burnt - but who really started the fire and why?

I've said what I had to say for now. We all have opinions about this - many are valid and some are skew-if. Could this whole thing have been handled better? Yes it could. Would all of this even have existed to begin with without certain individuals? Possibly.

I'd already referenced the anonymity/apparent cowardice and explained why.

You're just a stirrer. *Removed by moderator*

Lots of people are wondering how this came about so I will explain. Below is the thread that caused all the issues. Normally it is private but I have PDF'd the printable version of the thread so you can see what happened. Enjoy!

Edit - Due to issues, the PDFs have been removed.

Not really NP but I aint begging people to stay.

Such a poor attitude for an Administrator of a forum to have. Losing some of his finest and most active volunteers who slave over the satisfaction of the end user, the people who prevent misinformation and devote precious free time... and that's his response.

I guess what will come to realization is that the BSOD community is actually very small, and replacing someone as dedicated and having such a will to learn as writhziden and others is incredibly difficult to find. I understand many users on Seven Forums have grown to love it, but I personally know I wouldn't want to live in fear that any moment my account can be banned instantaneously just like that for no reason at all by a ban happy Administrator.

Regardless of whether SevenForums produces an income, the help is provided by volunteers, not employees. If SevenForums ceased to exist tomorrow (heaven forbid considering all the people seeking help), volunteers would find another forum to provide help.
with 400,000 visitors a day and I'd like to see any of you afford to do it otherwise.
I think z3r010 clearly brought up the fact that he is the only one with the money to handle 400,000 visitors a day. That is a slap in the face to anyone who helps at SevenForums, and I took it as such. It is not okay to me that he basically said he made the site what it is and we did nothing to help bring in the 400,000 visitors a day. If I caused trouble by voicing the truth, so be it. I happen to be one in a line of many who feel that way, but I did not hesitate to voice it when given an opportunity by z3r010 himself, and I know of many who are still at SevenForums and do not have any affiliation with Sysnative who feel the same. Obviously, those who feel the same do not contribute anymore.

Anyone can do the math. From Pastebin:

We estimate that this site receives about 369,761 unique visitors per day which converts to a daily revenue stream of $1,180 USD.

$1,180 X 30 days/month = $35,400/month, less server costs.

Even if the ad revenue is 1/2 what Pastebin estimates, that is still a healthy $17,700/month all due to the help of volunteers.

(Note that "unique visitors" are not members and, thus, are indeed exposed to the advertisements.)
