The Other Devices tab is gone, I can see two "Bluetooth Device (Personal Area Network)" and "Bluetooth Device (RFCOMM Protocol TDI)" in Network adapters, not sure if they were there before. "Bluetooth AVRCP Device" in Human Interface Devices. I did remove (forget?/uninstall?) my old bluetooth devices from my PC so maybe that did it.

Desktop iso upgrade didn't work, haven't tried repair upgrade yet (though looking it up, looks like I need Windows 10 already installed)

Let's try this:
1) Check Windows updates (through control panel).
2) Check the results of sfc and sigverif.
3) Check if every options in "cleanmgr /sageset:1" is still ticked.
4) cleanmgr /sagerun:1
5) Download DeleteTempFilesAndFolders.bat (yes, I've tried it on my machine) and run it as administrator.
6) defrag c: /h /x
7) Clean boot (msconfig, services, HIDE Microsoft services, disable the other non-microsoft services)
8) Reboot and re-check windows update.
9) If everything is ok (sfc, sigverif and windows update), re-try the upgrade.

Windows update had nothing but an optional BenQ monitor update which I did since I don't think it will effect anything? Sfc and sifverif are clean for now, clean manager run.
The .bat got rid of some files but a lot are in use and some it lacked permission to delete (driverstore stuff), I did run the file as admin though.

Well the upgrade didn't work, unsurprising considering it was only some temp files that got deleted that time. Stopped defragging earlier btw, though it was prob running for about an hour because I learned I shouldn't be doing it on an SSD :/ (if it even was being defragged, cmd has no progress bar).

Same BSOD and error code, is there even much left we haven't tried at this point?

Bump your other thread in the windows update forum, I've seen they can usually solve this error.
Hopefully it could be simpler after the cleaning we've done...

Let's search something else...
Download regseeker (attached here), unzip, run regseeker.exe, "Applications and startup" (on the left):

Click startup entries: enlarge (at least) the columns name, path, display name, then take a screenshot.
Click services: enlarge (at least) the columns name, startup, display name, then take a screenshot.
Click drivers: enlarge (at least) the columns name, startup, display name; click the name header and the path header to sort the drivers by (name and) path, then take a screenshot.

Finally, post the screenshots.

I'm in disbelief that those driver were STILL there! No matter how hard we scrub we can't get rid of them.

Sorry but I ran the delete driver batch file twice without thinking because I forgot to run it as admin, so the Check-Delete-Drivers-result says it can't find the files. Running the first bat again though shows that they're not there any more except for pnkbstra.

I deleted the VBAudio and VirtualHere drivers since I don't need them and have been deleting them everywhere else.
