[SOLVED] Can't upgrade to Windows 10 from Win 7 Ultimate (error code 8007005)

I think you need to reboot, sign in again to the sysnative account and perform the copy again from Administrator to sukh. There something not being done correctly on the copy I believe.

 1. This may take a minute to load up.
 2. Click on any folder that you see inside the Administrator folder. Now hold down the CTRL button on the keyboard and tap the letter A on the keyboard. You should see everything get selected.
 3. This step is very important. Locate any files that begin with ntuser.dat and deselect those files by holding the CTRL button down on the keyboard while you single click each one with your mouse.
 4. Also locate ntuser.ini and deselect this one.
 5. Now copy all the remaining folders by holding your CTRL button down and selecting the C button on the keyboard.
 6. You can close this window now.
 7. Click the Start button again and select Computer.
 8. Double-click on your Local Disk (C:) drive.
 9. Locate the Users folder and double-click to open.
 10. Double-click on the sukh folder. You should get a message stating that you don't have permissions. Please click the Continue button and then answer Yes to the UAC prompt if it comes up.
 11. Hit the ALT key once on the keyboard and you should see a menu system show up at the top. You will have File...Edit...View...Tools....Help. Click the Edit menu and choose paste.
 12. You will get a Confirm Folder Replace dialog. Check the box that says "Do this for all current items" and click the Yes button. You will likely get a Copy File confirmation dialog. Check the "Do this for the next conflicts" box and select the first option which is "Copy and Replace".
 13. Reboot and sign in with your new user sukh.

OK I will delete SUKH account, Reboot, Create a new Account, reboot log in Sysnative and the try again to copy files from Administrator to Sukh.

I appreciate your patience and request you to bear with me please.

Deleted SUKH account and created a new user account.

Can I copy files from Administrator to new user account being logged in Administrator?

Windows Help site step no. 1. says

Log on as a user other than the new user you just created or the user that you want to copy files from.

Will that make a difference?

OK logged in as Sysnative and copied files from Administrator to SUKH folder and it copied. It didn't copy the whole lot but this time but when completed and logged in as user SUKH, I didn't have that issue of no permission to access.

Some applications are not opening. one application showing as not installed. I don't think that it is that big an issue.

But good news is I tried Media Creation Tool and it opened. I didn't run it though as don't have that much time at this point to run it. Will try it tomorrow.

Excellent news. As always, make sure you have a backup of your system or at least your data before attempting an OS upgrade.

I will back up my data and will create a system backup before attempting OS upgrade.

FINALLY

I was busy for the last couple of days so couldn't attempt.

Tried today and the Operating System Upgrade to Windows 10 Pro successfully completed, with absolutely no issues whatsoever.

A big "thank you" to BrianDrab and zcomputerwiz and Sysnative Forum as a whole, for the support and much needed help, without which I couldn't have resolved the issue.

During the process I learnt a lot too. Thanks for that Brian.
