That's just it I did and nothing has the Exclamation marks! I don't get it. I even went to devices and printers and selected "make this printer default printer. GSmartControl
Follow the instructions below to test your hard drive health with GSmartControl:

  • Download GSmartControl and save it on your Desktop;
  • Execute gsmartcontrol.exe; Let the install complete and launch the programme.
  • Identify your drive in the list, and double-click on it to bring up it's window (usually you'll find your drive by it's size or it's brand name);
  • Go in the Perform Tests tab, then select Extended Self-test in the Test type drop-down list and click on Execute (this test can take a few hours to complete);
  • Once the test is over, the results will be displayed at the bottom of the window. Please copy and paste these results in your next reply;
  • Also, go in the Attributes tab and if you have any entries highlighted in red or pink, take a screenshot of the GSmartControl window and attach it in your next reply;

Isn't there an easier way? My brain fried! and that is real complicated! I'm 61 YO

Not really, but if you'df like to save time, I'd advise you to try using the system for a bit and see if there are errors. We've cleared out the corruption and Win10 is running. What are the system specs?

No.. honesty everything was working flawlessly before the upgrade. The only thing that's changed is HDD (Samsung 860 EVO) change, and OS change.

I don't know what to tell you. From my standpoint, everything is clean corruption wise and the computer is ready to be used. If you are unhappy with the performance, you can either test the HW to see if that is the issue or format the drive and install Win7 again, but I do not believe Win10 is the culprit here as I've been using it since 2015.
You can even start a thread in another forum here at Sysnative to be assisted by someone who does HW troubleshooting more than I do, so they may be more helpful.

OK thanks. The Massive memory usage due to "wondershare Application" Wonder what else is running amuck.
