Problem with windows update - now boots to black screen with cursor. SFC & DISM no longer work. Can't repair.

Add Missing Package
1. Click the Start button and type cmd in the search box.
2. Right-click on the cmd that comes up and select Run as administrator.
3. Once you are at the command prompt, copy/paste the following line and press enter.
pnputil -a C:\Windows\WinSxS\amd64_prnms002.inf_31bf3856ad364e35_6.3.9600.19811_none_434d3a308e82feb1\prnms002.inf

4. You will likely receive a prompt that the publisher of the driver cannot be verified. Please install the driver anyway as this message is normal.
 
Step 1:

  • Save any work you have open, and close all programs.
  • Drag the SFCFix.zip file over the SFCFix.exe executable and release it.

  • Open the file, then copy and paste its content in your next reply.

Step 2:
Restart the machine then try to install KB5022352.
If it fails, attach the files C:\Windows\Logs\CBS\cbs.log and C:\Windows\INF\setupapi.dev.log.

I did notice the file was blue when looking in the folder, it says it compressed, but it won't let me un-compress it, access denied.

Also says I need to unblock as it came from another computer, but this seems not to change the outcome.
