Server 2016 - Windows Update Error Code 0x8007371

Thank you. I will provide the next fix after I get some sleep.

We are close now. I would say maybe 3 more rounds of fixes until we clear this error.

Thank you for your patience.

Thank you. We have successfully surpassed that error. The next one is even worse as we have to replace almost 3000 registry keys, before I start sourcing them, please let me know whether you are willing to go down that route and invest the time necessary to fix this or if you would rather rebuild the machine.

Thank you.

Thank you.
Installed only one update.
KB4530689 has not installed it

After all we've done I wouldn't want to rebuild the server (domain controller with san and starwind connections as well as a member of a cluster).
I have time to invest, you have to see if you want to invest your time with me
Can't the other servers help us with this registry keys ?

Okay. I'll start digging. The issue is not sourcing the keys, but copy pasting them as I am going to copy them one by one.

Could you provide ProcMon log as well?

Step#1 - Capture Process Monitor Trace
1. Download and run Process Monitor. Leave this running while you perform the next steps.
2. Try updating the system just like you have in the past.
3. Stop Process Monitor as soon as it fails. You can simply do this by clicking the magnifying glass on the toolbar as shown below.

4. Select the File menu...Save... and save the file to your desktop. This is likely the default location. The name (unless changed) will be LogFile.PML. This is fine.
5. Zip up and provide the link to the LogFile.PML file as well as your CBS.log Examples of services to upload to are Dropbox or OneDrive or SendSpace.
