Welcome to Sysnative!

It looks like Rogers really kicked you with the upload speed there compared to your down :grin1:

Cablevision just doubled the DL for no extra charge. I am sure they will recoup it some how

EE is a pretty cool name for an ISP.

It is until you start seeing all their 4GEE adverts :p Actually, all their cinema adverts are horrendously cringe. You look around and everyone's just like please.make.it.end. And they don't change them for months.

Anyway, I was on Orange UK, but they got taken over by EE. Actually, very originally we were on Freeserve, but they got taken over many times. We've never switched, just been switched.

Freeserve --> Wanadoo --> Orange UK --> BT (Orange UK branding) --> EE (Orange UK branding) --> EE

But it was even more complex, because there were several complex takovers relating to the Wandoo/France Telecom deal when it first collapsed. But we never really noticed that as it was just constant Wanadoo branding.

Oh god, Wanadoo... They made the most annoying routers I have ever seen with one. Someone I do IT support for has a Wanadoo router at home and it's so stupid!

Want to connect a device to the router? Sure, just enter the password and... oh, wait, it doesn't work. Turns out to connect a device to the router I have to press one of the tiny buttons of the back of the router for 5 seconds. And it's so obvious too, they are given the helpful names of "Button 1" and "Button 2"! They are honestly just labelled "1" and "2" on the back. One of them allows a device to connect, the other disables it. Which one does which? I have no clue, I just press one of them and see what happens! :p

Oh yeah, and they secure it with a 25 digit long WEP code....... It may be 25 digits long, but it's WEP... :( And being so long, it takes an AGE to type..... Can't change it for them though, because all the other devices in their house would need changing...

My internet is getting better by the day!

I just paid mine yesterday.

Someday I'll figure/ find out what all the "minor charges" are that add up to an additional $25+/month!

Can you believe it, I must have missed February's payment. The bill was through the roof....... I paid half
