Speedtest

I'm on the New Rogers Hybrid Fibre Optic 150/15 plan and this test was done on there new modem Hitron CG3N and using Wireless 5G connection. If I hook up directly to the modem I get 190 down 16+ up most times.

I guess you won't experience much of a bandwidth problem, huh? :0

Staying overnight in PA. Hotel has Comcast Business Internet.

Internet speed is horrible. YouTube constantly buffers at 144 px (lowest setting).

Can't wait to get back home!

FIOS is moving along nicely tonight -

I don't have anyone to keep my slow internet company now! :p

Oh yes you do! Although I'm actually flying along today compared to sometimes, still not very fast though:

lol, now you know how it feels :p Admittedly, our internet has just been upgraded, but I spent the last seven years on internet which averaged about 0.3Mb/s (although fluctuated between so slow even speedtest.net wouldn't load, and 1.2Mb/s). Sad times. Youtube was a complete right-off most of the time.

I'm still waiting for google fiber to become a thing around here...

There have been rumors about it for a few months but no luck yet...

Here is the best I can get in my area:

Sadly it's with comcast though

Here is my current speed:

Out of curiosity how much do you guys pay for such fast speeds? and what is the download limit?

I am currently paying $90 a month for this speed with 200G cap. There is a phone included in this (which is $10 I believe) but it was cheaper to get the deal with a phone line, even though we don't even have a home phone plugged in.

Back home now - YouTube is not buffering anymore! :0

Finally got broadband installed :D

I'll post one from campus at some point - I got 120Mb/s a few years ago but I saw someone hit much, much higher a few days ago.
