[SOLVED] spot's MGADiag report (and grovelling plea for HALP!!)

I need to sign off for a while but I'm going to leave the computer on and see if the activation error has come back when I return. Will definitely keep you posted - and THANK YOU!!

Shut the unit off for a while and still got the error after start up. During shutdown it indicated that it was installing updates. What's next?

Update - shutdown today hasn't fixed it yet. It did take the error longer to pop, though (it used to pop shortly after startup). Any ideas from your team?

Understood. I did receive a response from the team but am giving the others a little more time to respond and then I'll be back with you.

OK, I have a few suggestions to try now. Do you know if your disks are in a RAID configuration?

Let's start with the following.

Remove Update Manually
1. Click on the Start
Start%20Orb.jpg
button and in the search box, type Command Prompt
2. When you see Command Prompt on the list, right-click on it and select Run as administrator
3. When command prompt opens, copy and paste the following command into it, press enter
wusa /uninstall /KB:3004934

4. Let me know if it says it was successful or if there are any errors.

 IDK about the RAID configuration.... can you tell me where to find this out?

Windows Update Standalone Installer launched when the command you gave was entered in Command Prompt.

It popped: "The update KB3004934 is not installed on this computer"

re: the RAID configuration - Googled how to find and did the following: R click on Computer > Select "Manage" > "Device Manager" > expand "Storage Controllers" and got the following:

RAIDconfig031216.jpg
Is this what you were looking for? "Properties" R/click on each of the entries indicated both drives are working properly (*theoretically*, lol).

It says "Update for Windows (KB971033) is already installed on this computer"

I OK'd that and the installer shut down.

Shut the unit down and brought it back up... the error did not pop within the first few minutes of start-up, but I will let you know if the error comes back while my husband uses it this afternoon.

Let me know what (if anything) is next and I'll catch it this evening when I get up for work. Thanks!!

Please do the following when able.

Retrieve System Information
1. Download Speccy to your desktop. The setup file will be named spsetup126.exe or something similar.
2. Double-click on this file and install it. Note: Please ensure that you uncheck any foistware that may be presented during the install (i.e. Chrome Browser install).
3. When the program opens it will retrieve some information regarding your system.
4. Once it's done, select the File menu and choose Publish snapshot. Answer Yes to the confirmation message.
5. On the next screen that comes up, choose the Copy to Clipboard button and paste this link in your next reply.

All I have on it is what's on the system description in the control panel: AMD Phenom II X4 B93 Processor 2.81GHz, 8.0GB RAM, 64-bit OS

It was a gaming build my husband bought on eBay about 3 years or so ago. Of course, eBay doesn't keep purchase records that long so I couldn't find it on there to see if there was more info.

If it will help for you to aux in and look around, I'm off work tonight and will be up for another couple of hours, or I can arrange to meet you on here at a specific time if you need me to.
