Unable to run .Net updates on Server 2008 R2

Let's just see if SURT will run. There isn't anything to diagnose it unfortunately as it is a diagnostic tool in itself.

Tried. Failed.

Some smaller updates succeed.

Seems the larger ones fail. (like SURT and Rollups)

Nothing with .net works.

I can't even install it fresh at this point.

When installing, do you use Windows Update or standalone?

I assume you mean .Net but the same is true for Updates.

I get error codes for updates when I use windows update, not when I use standalone.

I don't get specific codes for .Net standalone or update standalone.

Which would you like me to try?

I've seen this at least 1 time before where during finalizing the update, it's failed and reverted changes.
