About Pulse Secure - I removed it as best as i could a month ago. Some of the items have missing uninstaller, and one item "lives forever" - i.e nothing changes after uninstall. If you have suggestions how to remove those stuck items, please let me know.

Screwed running FRST a bit - first time run without admin rights. Run again with admin rights, so there is two logs.

Make sure you delete the hidden folder C:\$WINDOWS.~BT for some strange reason FRST failed to delete it!!

I suggest you create a new user account with Administrator privileges, login with the new user and try to upgrade.

Make sure that you remove the extra drive with Windows installed the next time you try to upgrade.

The only suggestion I can think of is to install the Sata driver provided by Asus for your motherboard instead of the newer ones from Microsoft/Intel.

Check the driver properties if this one installs correctly the date should be from 2017!

Remove the folders C:\Windows\System32\OOBE\SetupPlatform and C:\$WINDOWS.~BT

I was dreading the moment you will run out of ideas :) Will do that on weekend, since it requires physical access.

Yes I know, but this one is an installer from Asus so they should have tested that.

I have encountered some cases of driver problems because of the less specific drivers installed by Microsoft and several situations that the latest drivers provided by Intel that supposedly work for the device that didn't work properly!

I've installed those drivers, wiped the SSD with clean 1908 and then attempted to upgrade again. Alas, same result. I think what i'm going to do is to clone current installation to SSD and then try to upgrade. This really looks like HW issue, so hopefully this will fix it.

The setupact.log ends exactly at the same point?

Where did you get the Windows 10 install DVD?

I think you didn't answer my question if you have the DVD for v1809 to try a Repair Install.

Yeah, same point. The ISO for 1908 is from media creation tool. I deleted the ISO for 1809, it was from uupdump, but i can easily recreate it.

Do i want original 1809 or March 2019 update ? Upd - neither match my current version.
