[SOLVED] Very high DPC and ISR by storport.sys and classpnp.sys. FIX: I moved the HDD from Sata3 port to Sata2 port.

Can you try to change the NVIDIA timeout ?

here is the procedure :

To Change the Graphic device timeout, use the following steps.

  1. Exit all Apps and Programs.
  2. Press the WinKey+R keys to display the Run dialog.
  3. Type regedit.exe and click OK to open the registry editor.
  4. Navigate to the following registry key:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\GraphicsDrivers

  1. With the GraphicsDrivers key selected, on the Edit menu, click New, and then select the following registry value from the drop-down menu specific to your version of Windows (32 bit, or 64 bit):
(NOTE: The TdrDelay name is Case Sensitive)
For 32 bit Windows
a. Select DWORD (32-bit) value.
b. Type TdrDelay as the Name and click Enter.
c. Double-click TdrDelay and add 8 for the Value data and click OK.

For 64 bit Windows
a. Select QWORD (64-bit) value.
b. Type TdrDelay as the Name and click Enter.
c. Double-click TdrDelay and add 8 for the Value data and clickOK.

If the Nvidia driver bugging the machine there is some other that driver interfere.

Can you please post the results of this I would like to check the software installed.

Many thanks,
Andy

Ok this is the list of the things I think we need to remove:

Leave windows find proper drivers for this device.

Etron USB3.0 Host Controller (HKLM-x32\...\{DFBB738C-71D8-4DC5-B8D2-D65C37680E27}) (Version: 0.118 - Etron Technology) Hidden
Etron USB3.0 Host Controller (HKLM-x32\...\InstallShield_{DFBB738C-71D8-4DC5-B8D2-D65C37680E27}) (Version: 0.118 - Etron Technology)

I think this is some additional codec pack

LAV Filters 0.62.0 (HKLM-x32\...\lavfilters_is1) (Version: 0.62.0 - Hendrik Leppkes)

Remove it completely and check if Windows will install NVIDIA drivers even without the NVIDIA control panel.

NVIDIA Graphics Driver 364.72 (HKLM\...\{B2FE1952-0186-46C3-BAEC-A80AA35AC5B8}_Display.Driver) (Version: 364.72 - NVIDIA Corporation)

To be honest wont be surprised if this messing with your VGA and sound settings.

RivaTuner Statistics Server

As the problem get resolved when you remove the NVIDIA and you are not the only one who experience this at the moment with the NVIDIA VGA I will recommend to wait for fix from NVIDIA as this is something they caused.

After you delete the NVIDIA drivers please check if you have installed VGA drivers in the Device manager.

If so I will amend to use the computer like this for now and avoid NVIDIA control panel for now :).

I`ll wait for your response but I`m going to be offline for a couple of hours so my answer might be bit delayed.

Many thanks,
Andy

I unistalled all the the listed program, and nothing to do. Only when I unistall the Nvidia Driver the pc work correctly.
However now I'm using it with the audio problem because I prefer it instead of using it with no driver video.

One really weird question.

Where do you plug the speakers in the front panel or the back of the computer?

If you are using the front panel can you please try to connect them directly to the sound card.

This is reminding me to issue with realtek in the past.

Can you please download this realtek driver and this NVIDIA driver.

Do the following.

Remove the existing drivers for both but do no reboot the computer.

Install only the realtek driver before restart confirm the sound works.

Reboot the computer.

After the Windows is ready install the Nvidia driver and reboot again.

This sequence was working with Laptops and Windows 7 if you do not follow the order they was bugging.

This really worth a try as obviously we are speaking about Realtek and Nvidia conflict.

I have it on back of the computer.

I will try this after when I'm at home. However currently I'm with no realtek driver and I have the problem so I think that is not realtek related but is only something about nvidia driver.

Hi all

[A big Thank You to Repair & Restore for all the hard work!]

One little note, & I've got to rush off again (I really need a clone)...

It might be that when you re-install the nVidia drivers (using the "clean install" option, and leaving out the three or so checkmark boxes for optional components) that Windows still detects and re-installs its "nVidia HD Audio driver". See if things get better leaving that driver installed, but disabling the "nVidia HD Audio driver" in Device Manager. That way, the driver won't load. And since it is still installed, Windows won't automatically reinstall it again.

I'm not sure that the issue is only with the "nVidia HD Audio" portion of the whole nVidia driver package ... it might be that the issue is only going to be finally resolved when nVidia comes up with a better package. But if you & Andy figure out a way, a lot of computer users are going to be very happy, because this issue has been affecting quite a few systems.

[and Thanks again to Andy ...]

I can try to install "Nvidia HD Audio driver" from the Nvidia package and after I can disable it from Device Manager and see what happen.

Can you please post your Playback devices?

I have the same problem with another person and I found the conflict between NVIDIA HD audio drivers and Realtek doing some bizarre conflicts.

What we did with him was to guide him to perform manual driver clean up.

We installed the last version of RealTech and Chipset specially build for windows 10.

Asrock released only and only the Realtek driver for windows 10.

Here is the method for installing NVIDIA OldGaryGary mention
nVidia Install Screen.png

Please install that and post the playback device you shouldn`t see NVIDIA HDMI in there.

If the driver doesn`t help I will post you the command line you need to post so I can create a fix for the manual driver removing.

Many thanks for you patience and cooperation,
Andy

Installing the Nvidia driver like in the screen I see the Nvidia HDMI because windows download it I think.
This is the screen with no realtek driver installed, now I'm downloading from asrock site the windows 10 realtek driver:

I will need the post after the Realtek drivers.

This Nvidia HDMI output must be removed.

Let`s check if the driver will remove them if not we will perform manual driver removal of the NVIDIA and try to reinstall it again.

Many thanks,
Andy

Installed realtek driver, problem still present and Nvidia HDMI too:

We need to remove the HDMI driver somehow and not allow windows to download or use them.

Also enter Device Manager and find your Realtek audio driver.

Right-click the driver and choose Update driver software.

Select Browse my computer for driver software, then select Let me pick from a list of device drivers on my computer.

This will bring up a list which will include High Definition Audio Device.

This is the generic Windows 10 driver.

Select and install.

Let see if that will resolve the sound problem.

This is how my device manager is currently, I'm installing it!

Edit: nothing to do with the generic Windows 10 driver.
