Vista Hardware Driver Removal

OK (nothing in the Non Plug an Play area?)
Please Uninstall that driver, - if it asks you if you want to remove the drivers completely, say yes.
Then reboot.
Wait for Windows to reinstall any required drivers, and note what they are, if necessary - then reboot again
open Device manager, and see what's now installed there - post a screenshoot of the same area.

Vista auto tries to insatll the Lan Adapter driver on boot up. Vista will ask for the install cd which I do not have so I point the insatll to the downloaded driver file for this device but it can not install the3 driver.

Some extra info for you, the registry keys that are installed by vista at startup for the Lan Adapterd do not have all the values in them at this key.

I'm by no means familiar with this area of the registry - I have no idea how to approach it!
I'll do some research and come back.
