What are you currently playing?

I am currently playing a MUDD for all you old school gammers out there. Before the questions come rushing in I don't play D&D.

After reading a couple of articles on it, I had a brief stint of the dwarf fortress. Absurdly complicated/hard to learn, but it seems like it might be fun.

BF3 all the way atm because it looks great on my rig, it plays faultlessly, the gameplay style rewards and punishes me equally, and I can pick it up play it then put it down without any need to plan or interfere with my work commitments

I haven't had very much time to game recently sadly. If I feel like playing a dungeon crawler type game I'vn playing path of exile. It's fun and free! Itcan't get much better. However, I've been playing dead space 3 far more recently because none of my friends are big computer gamers...

I've been meaning to play BF3 for ages, it's always too expensive when I look though. BC2 was brilliant, but I've yet to play any of the others.

I have deadspace 1 and 2, but I usually give up after 20 minutes out of sheer terror. I'll complete them one day...

I beat the original deadspace years ago but never invested much time into the second one...

Seeing as the third one was coming out I beat DS2 in one sitting on one of my Saturdays off...

The third one is good but not nearly as good as the second one in my opinion.

On a side note, the new tombraider game looks pretty good

Playing Bioshock right now... I know its old but only recently upgraded my Desktop. Hate the classical music... But overall a fun game.
Btw is it alright to advertise stuff here? Like websites that sell games or stuff?

Basically, something like "I play game x with this particular mod: {link to mod's website}" is absolutely fine.

But if you are posting a link which you get paid to post as many times as possible, or one which you earn a commission on for every click, then that isn't so cool. That's called spam, and if we let one person do it, then everyone would do it, and the entire forum would be clogged up with adverts.

Basically, we will always give you the benefit of the doubt - we can see you are a genuine user, and not a robot or anything, so we aren't going to get you into trouble over a single link, only if you started posting the same link 100x or something crazy like that :p

The line's pretty common sense TBH, if you are posting a link to be genuinely helpful to future readers, that's fine. If you're posting it 100 times or as part of some slightly underhand business, that's too far.

But, please, don't worry or be concerned about this. We can see you are a genuine user trying to help others, so that's absolutely fine. There is absolutely no need to constantly worry about a mis-step, seriously, you'll be fine :)

Currently on my second playthrough of Metro Last Light.

Must admit, it is one of the best games I have played in a long time. (probably since Dark Souls)

Playing second playthrough of Dragon Age: Origins right now. Really nice game.

Playing a bit of far cry 3, not so nice of a game.

I bought Dragon Age: Origins the other day when it was sale. Been a bit busy with other stuff, but I've played it a little. I was surprised by it - I wasn't expecting it to be that kind of RPG, very similar to the earlier kotor games I thought.

I've only be gaming for 3 years now....and at my age that's crazy. The 2 games I enjoy the most is L4D2 and FEAR.

STEAM recently had this game as a 'free to play' for a week: Orion,Dino Horde

I started playing and wow it's sooo much fun. I bought it for the princely sum of a £1 and have since notched up 50hrs playing time. Unfortunately it's now gone back up in price but man it's amazing to fire rockets up the *** of a T-Rex especially when your skimming along the ground with your jetpack. Sure it isn't a AAA title and in places it shows. The thing is though if a game is fun to play it doesn't matter how it looks...

Just finished playing Castlevania Lord of Shadows 2... It was alright but, not as good as the first one.

I am now playing through Dark Souls again in prep for the second one coming out shortly :1grin:
