before I could get windows update settings to be never, I had checked for updates. There are 180 important-- I will wait to install those. I finally figured out how to get to a run as admin command prompt and am doing a scan. I will send you a link to the cbs.log later

I would say go ahead and do Windows Updates. Keep checking for updates and installing them until there are no more.

Everything seems to be great. Now running 8.1 No violations in scannow

I am putting this PC away until probably 4/25 and won't report back until then.
