Hi there,

I'm sorry you're having issues with SFCFix. First, can you please open an Elevated Command Prompt (Open an Elevated Administrative Command Prompt (CMD) - Windows 10), and type in the following and press enter:

Code:
C:\Windows\System32\regsvr32.exe shell32.dll
C:\Windows\SysWOW64\regsvr32.exe shell32.dll

Check you get two success messages and then try SFCFix again.

Next:

Code:
Using .zip script file at [B]C:\Users\\Desktop\SFCFix.zip[/B] [5]
Failed to extract zip archive. Failed to unzip in location 2 with error code 0x80040154.

Does your username have any special characters in it? Ligatures (ij), diacritics (š), spacing modifiers (ʰ), non-Latin alphabet (ӝ), punctuation (※), symbols (∉), Right-To-Left characters etc.?

If it does could you please give me some examples of the special characters it contains?

Finally, as a test, could you please create the folder C:\SFCFixTest (or something similar), place the .zip script and .exe file and try running SFCFix from there?

Thank you,

Richard

Thanks for looking into this!

I checked the username thing already as a part of my troubleshooting. It's 'administrator'.

Hmmm. @Han Solo...are you manually removing your username from the logfiles or is it just not showing up?
