Windows Service Pack 1: Error Code 80070490

Again, it just appears with an empty white box on the 'here's what we found' screen.

Thanks for the info. Please do the following.

1. Click your Start button and copy/paste the following into your search box and hit enter on the keyboard.
%localappdata%\Microsoft\Websetup\Panther
2. Within this folder you may see a file named DetailedReport.html
3. Copy this file to your desktop, zip it up and attach to your next post.

So it says there are three items to review but we can't see them. I have a few more ideas here.

Please delete the following folder and then run the 8.1 Upgrade Assistant again. Let me know if it works this time. Thanks.

%localappdata%\Microsoft\Websetup

At this point I have only the following options left.

1. Go to Acer's website and look up your make/model of your machine. Download/Install all updated drivers including any BIOS updates. Once it's fully updated, uninstall any Antivirus on your machine and attempt the Windows 10 upgrade again from a Clean Boot.
2. Obtain a Windows 7 Home x86 w/SP1 DVD from a friend, co-worker, family member and do a repair install which I can provide instructions on. No data or programs will be lost during this process. Then we can perform the 10 upgrade again.
3. Now that Windows Updates are resolved, post an inquiry in our Windows 10 forum where the experts there have more knowledge on this and may be able to help you further.
4. Do a Physical to Virtual conversion of your machine and then we can FTP it to me. I'll restore in a VM and attempt to resolve. That way I can use many more tools that I don't want to run on your production system.

Let me know how you want to proceed.
