Windows Update Crashes PC - Please Help !

Sorry for the delay. So i ran the repair tool & tried installing update (not the security update, but the other one) . Still it crashed. SO i ran the repair tool again & installed the update leaving the tool open. Tool reported bunch of error & wanted to send couple of files to MS. i collected those files & uploaded it for you. it has the CBS & also the windows update log in it. Also, i ran SFC & it reported -NO integrity violations found.

Thanks

What exactly does crash, Windows or Windows Update only ?

This is what happening from Day 1.
When I install the update which needed a reboot, PC will reboot & it wont load. It will crash & go to "Advanced boot Configuration" screen. As "Boot from Normal Mode" is selected by default, PC will try booting in normal mode after some 20 odd seconds count & then it will try loading windows again & crash to "Advance boot config - Normal Mode" again & the loop continues. System will keep rebooting until, I Choose "Boot from Safemode" in Advanced boot config. When I choose "boot from Safemode", it willboot to windows startup screen & say "failure installing updates & reverting changes" & then after the reverting process is done, system will boot to normal mode just fine.

Please uninstall it, reboot, and install it again.
Tell me if it installed successful or if there were any errors.

Okay. We do something else. Follow the instructions below.

FRST Scan

1. Download the Farbar Recovery Scan Tool and save it to your Desktop:
32-bit: Downloading Farbar Recovery Scan Tool

2. Right-click to run the tool as administrator. When the tool opens click Yes to disclaimer.
3. Note: Ensure that the Addition.txt check box is checked at the bottom of the form within the Optional Scan area.
4. Press the Scan button.
5. Please wait for the tool to finish. It will produce two logfiles called FRST.txt and Addition.txt in the same directory the tool is run from (which should be the desktop)
6. Post the logfiles FRST.txt and Addition.txt as attachment in your next reply.
