[SOLVED] [WinServer2012 x64] Could not reproject corrupted file(s)

Re: [WinServer2012] Could not reproject corrupted file(s)

We actually got a little further I think. Run the attached fix through and then try the update from Post#14 again. Provide CBS log if it fails.

Re: [WinServer2012] Could not reproject corrupted file(s)

Please do the following. There shouldn't be issues but make sure you have a restore point or because it's a server a good full backup before proceeding.

UnInstall Update with DISM
  1. Download this update and save to your desktop. The file name will be Windows8-RT-KB2984005-x64.cab.zip.
  2. Right-click on this file and select Extract All... Keep the defaults and click the Extract button. You can close the folder window that opens.
  3. Right-click your Start button and select Command Prompt (Admin). If a user account control prompt comes up, please allow.
  4. Copy and paste the following command into the command prompt window and press enter.

    dism /online /remove-package /packagepath:%userprofile%\desktop\Windows8-RT-KB2984005-x64.cab\Windows8-RT-KB2984005-x64.cab
  5. You should receive the message:
    The operation completed successfully.
Restart Windows to complete this operation. <---You may not get this line.
Do you want to restart the computer now (Y/N)? <---You may not get this line.

Go ahead and do so if prompted. Let me know what errors if any come up.

Re: [WinServer2012] Could not reproject corrupted file(s)

After you do the previous step, then please do the following.

FRST Fix
NOTICE: This script was written specifically for this user, for use on that particular machine. Running this on another machine may cause damage to your operating system
1. Please download Farbar Recovery Scan Tool and save it to your Desktop.
Note: You need to run the 64-bit Version so please ensure you download that one.
2. Download attached file and save it to the Desktop.
Note. It's important that both files, FRST64 and fixlist.txt are in the same location or the fix will not work (in this case...the desktop).
3. Run FRST64 by Right-Clicking on the file and choosing Run as administrator.
4. Press the Fix button just once and wait. If for some reason the tool needs a restart, please make sure you let the system restart normally. After that let the tool complete its run.
5. When finished FRST64 will generate a log on the Desktop (Fixlog.txt). Please post the contents of it in your reply.
