[SOLVED] [WinServer2012 x64] WU 80070246. DISM Error: 582 illegal character was encountered.

That CBS log does not show up in my c:\windows\Logs\CBS folder - I do however have the log that I submitted from that date it is attached.

Sorry, I had to wait until the end of the day to reboot the server. This has been ran, same error: 0x800f081f - logs are attached, thanks!

I just noticed it asked me to reboot to finish installing updates. I have rebooted the server and attempting to run the updates again.
 
So I rebooted the Server and ran updates again. It looked like they installed as it said a reboot was needed to finish installing updates. I rebooted the server again, it took a while to come back up, but when it did it said the update process failed and it was being reverted - that screen went away and it logged me back into windows. I went ahead and ran SFC /SCANNOW and rebooted to try running Windows Updates for the third time - it said their were 85 Important updates - tried to install them but received ERROR Code 8024AFFF. CBS and DISM logs are zipped up and can be downloaded from here - https://netorg2466719-my.sharepoint...0b96477680335&authkey=Afo8qw4m4igRf-uoOINGANo - Thanks!

  7. Upon completion, a log should be created on your Desktop: SFCFix.txt.
