1. Please uninstall Bitdefender Antivirus Plus just to be sure it is not an issue in this case.
2. Disconnect all the peripheral devices that are connected to the system, except for the mouse, keyboard and display.
3. Uninstall the NVIDIA display drivers using: DDU > Utilizing DDU Display Driver Uninstaller Properly

Hi,

I did uninstall Bitdefender, then Nvidia from safe mode.
I launched again the reinstall from Admin account, but this time is was very fast; after the first reboot I could log to my admin session without any error message.

I ignore is that is good news ?

I am now launching the repair version from windows update (23H2).
Nvidia driver does reinstall by the same time

Export registry key as hive file.

• Open the Start menu of Windows and type CMD.
• When you see Command Prompt on the list, select the option Run as administrator.
• Copy and paste the following command into the command prompt and press enter.

reg save "HKLM\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control" "%userprofile%\Desktop\Control.hiv"

• Once done, a file will appear on your desktop, called Control.hiv.
• ZIP this file and attach it to your next reply.

Step 1.

1. Open the start menu and type cleanmgr to start Disk Cleanup.
2. Click Clean up system files
3. Select Temporary files and Temporary Windows installation files only.
4. Click OK.
5. Let me know if the (hidden) folder C:\$WINDOWS.~BT is removed from the systemdrive.

Step 2. Start the

Farbar Recovery Scan Tool again.

Warning: This script was written specifically for this system. Do not run this script on another system.

• Download the attachment fixlist.txt and save it to your desktop.
• Right-click on FRST.exe and select "Run as administrator".
• Press the Fix button.
• If for some reason the tool needs a restart, please make sure you let the system restart normally.
• When finished, a log called Fixlog.txt will appear in the same directory the tool is run from.
• Post the logfile Fixlog.txt as attachment in your next reply.
