Error 80073712: Havent been able to install most updates for almost 2 years

Hi, I'm back :)

Excellent to hear! The old KB pack is not available anymore. It's been replaced with November's pack: KB4467107

I also have these 2 important packs now:
KB2952664
KB890830

Further more, I no longer have any optional updates (with the exception of the language packs that I chose not to install)

Should I go ahead and install the first one?

I ran the installer. It said this update is already installed on my computer.
Since it didnt technically fail, do you still need the cbs.log?

Hello,

I did the command, and it proceeded to uninstall. But the screen then disappeared. Am I suppose to get a screen saying that it failed or succeeded?

Afterwards, I tried installing it again. Interestingly, the installer gave me the "The update is not applicable to your computer" message.

I dont suppose this was supposed to happen?

Obtaining Registry Hive Information Using Farbar Recovery Scan Tool (FRST)

--------------------

  • If FRST is installed on your computer right click on the icon then rename it to Uninstall
  • Right click on Uninstall and select Run as administrator
  • Click OK to restart your computer
  • Download a new copy of FRST for either 64 bit or 32 bit computers and save it to your Desktop. If unsure, download both and only the correct one will run.
  • Right click on FRST and select Run as administrator
  • Click Yes on the Disclaimer of warranty
  • Highlight the below information then hit the Ctrl + C keys at the same time
  • The information will be copied invisibly and will be "pasted" into FRST automatically when you click Fix as instructed below
