[SOLVED] Help w/ corrupt files caused by Windows update

Laptop seems to be working well so I believe you resolved all the issues. Thanks greatly for the expertise you provided as would never have been able to get it functioning properly without the guidance, specific steps and fixes you provided! Thanks again!
