Don't understand all that, but here is the file

Not sure if I did it correctly as My default download file is not "desktop" So I sent each program to the desk top as shortcut. then combined them there.

Did you run the fix? What don't you understand? You can attach it if you like, but I need to know what the fix said.
Don't understand the reason for the quotes. and if I'm supposed to just wait until the perpetual "working circle " ends or does that mean it's not possible to cut and paste a file like that.

Ignore the quotes part. The important thing is I get the results after running the fix. Whether you copy paste them directly, put them in a codebox or attach them makes no difference to me.

OK then, I'll just continue as I have been. I assume you bee able to see and read all the files so far. I guess It was OK to combine the two applications as I did? CBS.log - Google Drive

I think you do not understand the instructions. Use the SFCFix.exe from the link and the attached SFCFix.zip to fix the first half of the corruptions. When done SFCFix.txt will appear on the Desktop. Please attach it.

I'm off to bed now because it's 5 A.M. here. Good night.

Yes, but that's the solo SFCFix report. You have not used the zip file I provided. Download SFCFix.zip and drag it on top of SFCFix.exe and release. When done, a different SFCFix.txt will appear.

Thanks.

Hope this is better. I copied, and pasted both applications to the desktop from their default download location, then I dragged the zip file over the .exe, and it started the DOS type window. The result I pasted here.

Great! The driver is working ASIO Fast Track. But is the problem you mention, related to why some of my start-up programs stop. When I boot there is a long delay before the items re-set in my taskbar. in my "hidden icons" several items including Microsoft security essentials shows not working (during this deley) one is gone, and my network access is grey.. (always) when I click on it it shows a program COMODO trustconnect (VPN) I haven't had COMODO for years. . When I go to "services" my APC listings there are missing is gone. Then when I re-install the program it works again until:LOL: I re-boot.
