Step 1: WARNING! The following fix is specific to the user's system in this thread only. No one else should follow these instructions, as it could damage your system.
Download the attachment SFCFix.zip and save it on your desktop.
Save any work you have open, and close all programs.
Drag the SFCFix.zip file over the SFCFix.exe executable and release it.
SFCFix will launch, let it complete.
Once done, a file will appear on your desktop, called SFCFix.txt.
Open the file, then copy and paste its content in your next reply.
Step 2:
1. Click the Start button and type cmd in the search box.
2. Right-click on the cmd that comes up and select Run as administrator.
3. Once you are at the command prompt, copy/paste the following line and press enter. pnputil -a C:\Windows\System32\DriverStore\FileRepository\wpdcomp.inf_amd64_22c8d717677445a8\wpdcomp.inf
When completed, copy/paste the following line and press enter. pnputil -a C:\Windows\System32\DriverStore\FileRepository\prnxxcl4.inf_amd64_535ce11649f7ce5b\prnxxcl4.inf
When completed, copy/paste the following line and press enter. pnputil -a C:\Windows\System32\DriverStore\FileRepository\prnsacl1.inf_amd64_a8c9f0a9afbf7fee\prnsacl1.inf
4. You will likely receive a prompt that the publisher of the driver cannot be verified. Please install the driver anyway as this message is normal.

Download the attachment DRIVERS.zip and save it to your desktop.
Right-click on it and select "Extract all...". Put a check-mark at "Show extracted files when complete" and click Extract.
We are going to use the extracted file to replace your current one.
Navigate to the folder C:\Windows\System32\config
Right-click on the current DRIVERS file and select rename. Rename it to DRIVERS.bad. Note: If you get an error that the file is in use, reboot your computer and then try again.
Copy the extracted file from the attachment and paste it into the folder C:\Windows\System32\config
Step 2:
Restart the machine.
Try to install KB3000850 again.
If it fails attach the files C:\Windows\Logs\CBS\cbs.log and C:\Windows\INF\setupapi.dev.log.
